The Mission of Redington-Fairview General Hospital (RFGH) is to develop, provide, and facilitate quality comprehensive, safe, cost-effective health services for the people we serve.
Redington-Fairview General Hospital is an independent community hospital located in Skowhegan, Maine. RFGH has provided quality, comprehensive health services to the residents of Somerset County since 1952. A member of the Maine Hospital Association, RFGH offers inpatient and outpatient services in many specialties, has a network of community-based primary care and pediatric physicians, and provides 24-hour emergency medical services.

All of these topics are included in the RFGH Diabetes Self-management Education Program. Currently, education is provided individually in 1:1 sessions with a nurse certified in diabetes care and education, and with a nutritionist. If you want to gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills to take control of your diabetes, your health, and your life, ask your doctor for a referral to RFGH's Diabetes Self-Management Training Program.
