Your Birth Experience

Our Birthing Center features two private labor and delivery rooms and three postpartum recovery rooms, all designed to promote comfort, intimacy, and family bonding. Your private labor suite includes a rain shower, gliding rocker, and sleeper chair for your support person.

You will be cared for by trained and certified OB/GYNs, family medicine physicians, pediatricians, and highly skilled nurses. Our facility features new and upgraded fetal monitors, including a wireless fetal monitoring system that allows more freedom of movement during labor.

Pain Management and Comfort Options

Your birth plan is unique, and we support your choices. Pain management options may include: Epidural anesthesia, Stadol, and Intrathecal medication.

Natural comfort measures—such as birthing balls, peanut balls, Kaya birth stool, massage tools, music, TV, DVD player, and a Jacuzzi tub—are always available to ease labor discomfort.

After Delivery

About two hours after birth, you and your family will transition to a private postpartum room designed for rest and bonding. Postpartum rooms feature:
Sleeper sofa for a support person
Gliding rocker
Café table
Flat-screen TV and DVD player
In-room refrigerator

Meals are delivered room-service style for your convenience. During your stay, both you and one support person receive free room service. To celebrate your baby’s arrival, we serve a Special Delivery dinner for two, complete with sparkling cider, café-style, in your private room.

We proudly practice delayed cord clamping and strongly encourage immediate skin-to-skin contact. Babies routinely room-in with their parents throughout their stay because bonding is essential. Our nurses are always available to answer questions and help you get to know your baby.

What We Provide for Your Family

Every new parent receives:
  • A diaper bag with baby care items
