General

CNA
Special Care Unit

The Special Care Unit (SCU) CNA supports a fast-paced, multidisciplinary critical care team. This role requires the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff across multiple age groups and disciplines. The SCU CNA is an integral member of the Critical Care Team, providing clinical and clerical support as well as assisting with inpatient telemetry monitoring.

All new hires will complete a comprehensive telemetry course to support safe and effective monitoring of telemetry patients.

Status: Full-time, Mid Shift – 36 hours/week

Nutrition Services
The Cafeteria Staff Worker shall prepare and arrange all foods and beverages using proper food preparation techniques. The individual will serve a variety of foods each day being sure that all are fresh and appealing. The individual also waits on customers and performs a variety of other duties to ensure a smooth cafeteria operation.

Status: Full time, 32+ hours, 9:30a-7p with every other weekend rotation

Qualities: Flexibility, Reliability and a great attitude required

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Food service experience is a plus, but willing to train the right person.

Environmental Services

Housekeeper will be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean, sanitary, and aseptic by scouring, above shoulder dusting, mopping, using germicides, and wet dusting. Successful candidate will clean patient rooms, public areas, clinical, and office areas. Removes solid, bio-hazardous and recyclable waste. Performs other related housekeeping duties such as wall washing, dusting air vents, ceiling light fixtures and glass cleaning. Keeps work station and equipment neat and clean

Status: Per diem, Hours are variable ,but mostly 2:30- 11:00 P.M. Covering vacations or last minute needs.

This could include off site buildings so reliable transportation is required.

Qualities: Must work well independently with some supervision

Requirements: High school education or equivalent required. Experience in institutional housekeeping preferred but willing to train the right person. Must be available to work holidays.

Redington Oncology

Lead Oncology Clinic Coordinator will provide high levels of care and support to the Oncology team and promote patient satisfaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to scheduling patients, scheduling oncology provider orders, verifying patient insurances, obtaining prior authorizations prior to all tests and therapies, performing in a fast-paced environment and displaying the ability to multitask. The lead clinic coordinator will coordinate and communicate care with the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care. This position will oversee the front office processes and functions working collaboratively with the other coordinators in the office and other departments as needed. The lead clinic coordinator will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills while maintaining a positive attitude. This position will not do direct employee supervision but will be a liaison between the front office staff and Oncology manager for the office processes.

Status: Full-time, 32-40 hours, 7-3:30 or 7:30-4

Requirements: Experience in a medical setting, medical terminology and electronic health records are preferred.


NHC
The Norridgewock Health Center Medical Assistant performs various activities under the general supervision of the physician and the Office Manager to support exceptional patient centered care.

Status: Full time, 40 hours, Monday-Thursday 6:30-5 or 8-4:30 Monday-Friday

Qualities: Good interpersonal and organizational skills required. Previous medical office experience is desirable. Must be able to multitask and have computer and typing skills.

Requirements: Medical Assistant Certification required. Associate Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.

RMPC

The RMPC Medical Assistant performs various activities under the general supervision of the physician and the Office Manager to support exceptional patient centered care.This MA position is specifically working with our acute visit provider M-W-F; Float coverage on Tuesdays

Status: Full time, 32-36 hours M-W-F 7-4:30; Tuesday hours negotiable (8-9 hours)

Qualities: Good interpersonal and organizational skills required. Previous medical office experience is desirable. Must be able to multi task and have computer and typing skills

Requirements: Medical Assistant Certification required. Associate Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.

Laboratory

RFGH is seeking a Laboratory Technician/Technologist capable of functioning in all clinical areas of our full service hospital laboratory.

Status: Full time, 36 hours/wk 3/12’s, Night Shift

Qualities: Must have flexibility and excellent attention to detail.

Requirements: AS/BS degree in Medical Technology or BA/BS in Biological Science having completed required clinical laboratory training. ASCP/AMT certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent is preferred. At least one year of generalist experience in the areas of Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Microbiology and Phlebotomy is preferred.

Laboratory

The Laboratory Department Phlebotomy/EKG Technician staff will be competent to perform all diagnostic procedures, as assigned and must be able to demonstrate consistent competence to perform the skills required

Status: This position with be 4-10s with 9:30a-8p and 11:30a-10p variable shifts. There will also be weekend and holiday rotation associated with this position.

Qualities: An ability to work in a fast paced environment is essential.

Requirements: High School Diploma. Certificate from accredited phlebotomy training program preferred.

Radiology

Under the supervision of the Chief Technologist and the direction of the Radiologist(s), the Staff Technologist shall perform a variety of radiologic, fluoroscopic and CT procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnoses and clinical assessment. The Staff Technologist shall assume responsibility for designated areas and/or procedures, must have adaptability and willingness to cross-train into at least one other modality is encouraged, must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to perform exams on patients of all age groups, and must be knowledgeable about developmental needs over the age span and where appropriate are knowledgeable about the use of age related equipment.

Status: Per diem

Qualities: Patient centered team approach to care is imperative.

Requirements: Must be a graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology program. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and maintain current active status. Must hold a current Maine State license for radiology Technology. BLS required. Previous experience is desirable.

Surgical Services/Operating Room

Redington Fairview General is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-time Nurse Manager to co-lead our Surgical Services department. The successful candidate will have operating room experience and will provide both clinical care and leadership within our surgical services department. This role is responsible for co-managing daily surgical services operations while actively participating in patient care, staff support, and case coordination to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical outcomes.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Function as a circulating and/or scrub nurse as needed
  • Participate in call rotation as needed
  • Ensure adherence to sterile technique and patient safety standards
  • Support surgical teams during procedures
  • Assist with emergency cases and staffing coverage

Leadership & Management Responsibilities

  • Co-manage daily surgical services operations, including scheduling, staffing, and room utilization
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the surgical services team
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
  • Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative teams
  • Monitor quality metrics, patient outcomes, and workflow efficiency
  • Participate in performance improvement and staff education initiatives
  • Assist with budgeting, supply management, and equipment oversight

Qualifications and Experience

  • Current Maine RN license
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or MSN preferred
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of Operating Room nursing experience
  • Prior charge nurse, lead nurse, or supervisory experience preferred

Using the nursing process, the Emergency Department RN coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working collaboratively with the Emergency Department providers and other patient team members.

Status: Full time, 36 hours, 6a-6p. This position includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Redington-Fairview General Hospital (RFGH), a 25-bed critical access hospital and a 2025 "Best Place to Work in Maine" award recipient, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for a per diem position in our Emergency Department.
This is an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality rural emergency medicine as a vital member of our collaborative team. Our 24/7 Emergency Department serves over 30,000 residents across Somerset County. You will work alongside our supportive team of board-certified emergency physicians and fellow APPs to manage a diverse and engaging mix of cases, making a direct impact on our community.
Our department is equipped with a state-of-the-art central monitoring system and a helipad for rapid LifeFlight transfers, ensuring our team can provide the highest level of care possible in a rural setting.

Key Responsibilities

● Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries.
● Work in close collaboration with emergency physicians, nursing staff, and specialists.
● Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and perform procedures appropriate for the emergency setting.
● Stabilize and prepare patients for transfer to tertiary care facilities as needed.

Qualifications

● Required: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program.

● Required: Must possess or be eligible to obtain an active, unrestricted license in the State of Maine.
● Required: Significant clinical experience as an APP in an emergency department or high-volume urgent care setting.

RFGH is seeking a full time physician extender to join the expanding Neurology team. (Mon-Fri, Days). We are looking for an experienced PA or NP with experience in Neurology to join our team. The APP assists individuals and families with their care needs by obtaining health and medical histories, performing physical examinations, and assessing health problems. The APP cares for patients with acute and chronic life limiting illnesses by managing therapeutic regimens, prescribing medications and performing other studies and activities that are deemed appropriate. Required for the position is extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology and management of acute and chronic neurologic diseases; excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary to instruct patients and their families and to collaborate with multi-disciplined health team members. The candidate will also perform injections for headache patients. At least two years of experience in Neurology is required.
